Drug Interactions - Amoxicillin and Aleve, Is it allowed to take together? I just took Aleve and amoxicillin together and wonder if these two drugs are allowed to take the same time? Please help.
Drug Guide for Nurses Mosby's lists as amoxicillin have the following reactions:
hypersensitivity to penicillins and cephalosporins.
ALEVE that do not fall into
Yes ... Amoxicillin is an anti-biotic ... ALEVE is an anti-inflammatory. They are cool to take together. Check for interactions www.drugs.com just to be sure, but you should be allowed.
Jump to www.drugdigest.com You can list the medicines you take and show you if there could be a reaction (and what it is) among all you take
Yes. They are fine to take together. However, the next time I would say whether they are allowed to take together first .. before taking them.
Yes, they are safe to take together. However, like most antibiotics, amoxicillin may irritate your digestive tract. When mixed with ibuprofen in Aleve, it can cause an upset stomach or other intestinal problems. Other than that, it should go.
Yes
