Celexa

CelexaCelexa .....?

I've been perscribed Celexa (low dose, 20 mg), but have not yet begun. They said no alcohol but I prefer to drink wine with my meal and perhaps a few beers from time to time. Everyone knows the effects of this situation?

I'm on Celexa, as well, and you are advised not to drink while on any type of anti-depressants or anti-anxiety pills, as they could create an adverse effect or give the medicine to not work too well as it should

I used to be on him and the team only has an impact on weight gain ... I drank a beer from time to time and it comes to alcohol affects more serious ..... you should not drink with these drugs without knowing how it will affect you ..

I'm on Celexa, but do not drink alcohol. with an anti-depressant, it is advisable not to drink. If you really want to know, then talk to your doc and see what he says.

Alcohol is a depressant ... So you really should avoid alcohol if you try to recover from depression. Mixing alcohol with certain anti-depressants can be fatal ... Talk to your pharmacist about the interaction between Celexa and alcohol, but it will probably better than your doctor.

God bless you!

I have been taking antidepressants for many years, and im citalopram (Celexa), since a week ago.
You should drink wine or alcohol while taking Celexa, as well as other Doctors.
I am a little alcohol, but it depends on your body, once it gets used to the drug, you can take a little wine. But in the first months of treatment you should avoid alcohol

Always ask your doctor, he will be able to answer you better
(Sorry for mistakes, English is not my first language, I speak Spanish)

He'll **** UP!
