What should I do to recover from the classic migraine? Hello
I was diagnosed with classic migraine. Besides medication, is there anything else I should do to recover from him? Maybe something has helped you, if you have or have had one.
Thank you for your responses.
if you have been diagnosed with migraine by Dr. should have given you medication to take, there are new drugs that work well aborted. If you have chronic migraines there are also preventive medicines you take every day to prevent them. Apart from that the best thing is to try to find your triggers, there are plenty of them and some are a little weird. If you find your trigger could be the food, change in sleep patterns, climate change, odor, lights, etc., you can try and avoid it. try drinking more water as dehydration does not help any. try a cup of coffee as caffeine can sometimes help. Sometimes the drugs work for me, other times she has run its course, Dr will try everything and is always there, sometimes it runs just under way. I have chronic migraine without cause unusual and sometimes no cure. the best thing I found was i was put on preventive, and found most of my triggers and avoid them at ALL costs.
I found that I always get a feeling hangover and headache the day after a migraine. Can I take it easy that day and have a bit of regular Tylenol or what we have. Lots of water is also good because it will flush your system and stay hydrated. If its really bad I'll also ice on the back of my neck.
I recommend you call my friend Dr. Dana Winegarner and his staff at Mid-America Neuroscience Institute. They would be more than willing to talk with you. Headache triggers and causes can be very interesting. I am including a link to its site. Even if you're not in their geography, you must phone or email.
