Depakote

For the last two refills, I noticed a few missing from each bottle. I have a 17 year old son and I do not automatically point the finger at him because I do not even know that Depakote can even be abused?
Does anyone know anything?

It hurt to check, because the more doses of Depakote can be dangerous

Children do not need drug dealers more .... they can just look in the medicine cabinet. Lock up your medication! You can save his life. Then, you must have a conversation with him about drugs.

I took Depakote for a period of time to the prevention of migraine, but the side effects are not something I see as a recreational user would continue, particularly if only a few of each bottle, but it could just be experimenting.
I'm not sure that I speak to him if I did not have good reason to suspect - I think I speak for the first pharmacist. I've never heard of anyone taking Depakote for recreation, but I suppose anything is possible.

If you suspect that your son may be taking medications with you, you should start locking them. This is not the kind of things, it should be messing with.
