Dilaudid Narcotic

My husband has to wean her slowly Dilaudid order. Vicodin is a good substitute?

It took 4 mg every four hours during the day for a total of 20 mg for pain control. He dropped 2mg per day and is now 14mg. Is narcotic vicodin contain less than 2m Dilaudid pills? Would it be wise to wean vicodin? Thank you for any advice. It is not easy.

You husband should have had a hell of an injury or illness to the doctor put on Dilaudid. If your husband tries to Ween of what is a good thing. This means that he feels your husband does not need such a powerful drug against pain.
