Heartburn Zantac

I have severe heartburn doxycycline burning a hole in my chest. My doctor gave me Nexium, but it has not yet started in. Zantac and Mylanta did nothing. pain is brutal. I have hardly eaten in three days. What can I do to relieve the pain that I can eat?

Nexium and Zantac are the strongest drugs heartburn, you can take. If these works are not, you have serious problems. You can try Tagamet but I would say to return to your doctor.

I take Protonix - a Rx med for a few months and it has eliminated heartburn, without undesirable side effects.

My favorite is the remedy Prevacid (Rx required). I tried almost every other and nothing else works as well.
