Heartworm Medication

We put my dog on heart worm medication during the summer. We did 3 blood test in 2 months and liver enzymes is intensifying. Is this the heart worm?

Before giving Heartworm Med, a blood test should have been given to see if the dog is infested or not. The Heartworm attacks the heart muscle, and not the liver. Consult your veterinarian about this issue.

It preventive heart, no drugs.

I guess you had your dog tested for heartworm negative before putting on prevention is required by all veterinarians.

Ask your vet for that matter, ever heard of a dog act like that for heart worm prevention, but there are many other reasons for elevated liver enzymes.
