Does anbody know if the milk id good for heartburn? If not, is there any natural products that help? I'm pregnant and I do not want to take any kind of drugs to harm my baby, but the heartburn is killing me ... Anyone know what I can do?
I've had with my two pregnancies. The milk does not help that remain standing. Use a pair of pillows to support your head a little in his bed - I'm afraid it gets worse as baby grows. Do not eat for a few hours before bed (mine was always worse at night) And try to eat more small meals rather than three large meals. You can get Gaviscon (United Kingdom), it is a drug that is perfectly safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding - it indicates that it is actaully used for pregnancy. I do not think it is absorbed by the body and therefore it is correct. Ask your pharmacist. On a positive note, it disappears as soon as you have the baby.
YES milk and bread are very good for heartburn
Milk works ..... Tums are perfectly fine but when you're pregnant
There are many healthy products out there for heartburn, eat natural foods based. They usually contain things like papaya, ginger, licorice root, slippery elm, things like that. If you go into any health food store, you can ask people there, they are generally fairly well informed. Remember to check ingredients and ask questions.
You can also try to eat less food more often. In this way, it will not be driven by the baby and your body can handle it better.
My boys swear by a product called Comfort stomach. It is available in health food stores or on the link below.
Better buy drink cold milk, taking sip it will help to acidity and heartburn .. and avoid salty and fatty foods.
