What are the best natural remedies to reduce stress hormones, particularly cortisol? Before responding to people, I am very aware that the best approach is simply to reduce anxiety and stress. Sometimes, even if it's nice to have a helping hand, as the stress hormones like cortisol can be harmful to the body. I was just wondering what natural remedies are the best to balance cortisol:)

If you have any tests that show demonstratible you have an increase of cortisol, so there is no natural remedy to decrease. You must treat the cause - be it steroids (drugs), the pituitary or adrenal tumor is the most common causes.
DHEA is a hormone precursor that will make the testosterone / estrogen - it not lower cortisol. When you have high cortisol, usually, higher DHEA sulfate tests, to take a supplement to make it even worse.
