Natural remedies for sinus infection? Can I fix this without an antibiotic? I am a teacher of preschool and constantly getting sick: (Right now I am fighting a terrible cold and I'm trying to reduce it for the holidays. I know I need antibiotics because the mucus is green, but I can not the doctor due to the holidays. We keep things very clean at the preschool, but it does not seem to help. Any alternatives to antibiotics in the meantime? or suggestions?

Here are some ideas to heal the issue.
1. In order to improve breathing and fight infections, inhale steam vapors from essential oils of camphor, eucalyptus, lavender, lemon, pine, or tea tree.

Get a Neti pot, and use it twice a day ... it looks like a teapot. Fill it with warm body temperature () of salt water, and pour into one nostril (put your head over the sink) - you'll find how to tilt his head to it goes in one nostril and others.
Your sinuses are normally filled with salt water, if you replace it with roughly what was there in the first place it is preferable not to use iodized salt, but to find a natural sea salt (or kosher salt, which is easier on the budget) to keep it as natural as possible.
