Pregnancy supplements? I am raised from before conception and now have just been put on iron pills that iron content in elevation is half of what a pregnant woman should have.
I just read on the importance of iodine during pregnancy and I am worried I am not getting the requirements, but I do not go overboard with supplements. I do eat healthily but am struggling to eat red meat.
What supplements do you take during pregnancy?
I am vegetarian and have been very conscious of my iron levels during my pregnancy.
I also took Elevi throughout my pregnancy (I'm 38wks + 1 day).
I noticed that I felt funny - funny I mean I lethargic - more than usual and also have restless legs about 26 weeks since I gave the child to take more iron at this stage and my blood depleting faster. So I started taking an iron supplement on top of my daily Elevi. I noticed that I felt better after a few days. My blood was taken last week and iron levels are high.
The only other thing I suggest is that if you decide to get high, the additional iron supplement then you should probably drink a few fibers at the same time help with any constipation problems that can occur Because of the extra iron.
