Random Drug Testing

Random Drug TestingRandom testing can become a reality High School

More and more high schools are looking at ways they can limit minors alcohol and drug use. They have turned to <a rel = "nofollow" onclick = "javascript: pageTracker._trackPageview ('/ outgoing / article_exit_link');" href = http://www.trimegalabs.co.uk/resources/alcohol-high- School-alcohol testing.php> High School <tests / a> and <a rel = "nofollow" onclick = "javascript: pageTracker._trackPageview ('/ outgoing / article_exit_link');" href = http://www.trimegalabs. co. uk / tests / urine alcohol testing.php> <urine alcohol testing / a> to help you. However, some schools are turning to random drug testing while students participate in sports and other activities. Many administrators are specifically for students in sports and in complying with two strikes and you're in politics.

In 1995, the Supreme Court made the random drug testing on student athletes legal. In 2002, they expanded this rule to include competitive extracurricular activities. Schools can make this mandatory testing and does not allow students to participate unless they agree to random drug testing. The schools that students understand that there are big consequences for drug use. They consider it a way they could help students understand the seriousness of the drug.

Each time a student joins a team, they should be added to a random drug pool. Each month, a group of students would be selected for random testing. And if the results were negative, then the consequences would be delivered, where appropriate and depending if it was the first offense or second hand.

In addition to providing school authorities the possibility of finding students who break the rules, you can also give students a way out when it comes to peer pressure. If the tests random drug becomes normal practice in schools, students can find peer pressure and drugs to all become less common in secondary schools. Although it may be a dream, perhaps with random drug testing, we found that drug use in secondary schools is eliminated because the students will hopefully want to participate in activities more than they want to break the rules.

Although there is no easy answer to the problem of drug abuse among teenagers and alcohol abuse, we must start somewhere. Random drug testing may be the first step in helping students to uncover. By putting in place similar measures, schools can not only remove students who are using, but to allow other students to resist peer pressure they may face. We all want our students to excel in school and extracurricular activities. By putting in place programs we can begin to protect our students.

You can find this same mentality that work in the workplace. Many types of programs already allow random drug testing and has been a success. In fact, many jobs even require drug testing when you start a new job. It is becoming increasingly common in today's world. Employers want people they can rely on trust. Drugs undermine the capacity of people and put people around them at risk as well. By first creating such programs in our schools and allowing them to carry on our workplace and we'll create a mentality and drug-free buffer. It will not only help some people a way out, it will also set a standard in both our schools and our workplaces.
