seasonal asthma? I am an EMT-I and my allergies are so bad crazy this year, pollen or something, I always had bad allergies, but this is the worst season ever! I wake in the morning and wheezing bad. I went to QuickCare, I did not have insurance .. and anxiety. they gave me what I gave myself one day on the ambulance, treatment albuterol .. inhaler and then a z-pac, I been on it for five days and last night, I thought it was better ... do not think this morning was as bad as ever! Is this the season? Maybe I still kind of asthma thing, I took courses in the Department of Fire and I'm on the list to be paid a FF ... they may think twice if it's something I together forever ... advice?
cooker is the right of its probably allergies. I've never tried the honey thing, do not know if it works or not but I found Zyrtec works really well and counter sales now. I also SINGULAIR is ideal for allergies but I think you need a script for that. luck. there is no such thing as seasonal asthma. just seasonal allergies. Asthma is a disease of the year. then you should be ok with the FF thing. Oh, and good luck in your classes too.
Maybe it's not asthma allergies, perhaps, as you said. If the presence of pollen or other air born irritants, you can heal yourself by taking a teaspoon of local honey every day. After one month, you begin to see an improvement. Your body will naturally work with the honey of the region to develop immunities to all that float in the air. Try not to rely on drugs, they all have side effects, as you know. Natural remedies, such as local honey, have no side effects and will not harm you long term. Instead, they will improve your overall health and prevent you from coming down with little every germ that floats your way. Give a chance local honey what do you have to lose, besides your allergies?
definitely
It could be really just allergies!
adult asthma is not really nothing to ... it happens, but it is quite rare.
In general, they do hire you as a FF if you have a HX of asthma, then you really have to keep that in mind.
If it is seasonal, it will go away in a few months, right? If it does not disappear, it would be of concern. Maybe your seasonal allergies have turned into something a little more throughout the year.
If you were given z-pack, they might think you have some sort of an upper respiratory tract infection. Many people get when they hiss a URI. Have you ever heard of reactive airway disease? This results in asthma-like symptoms when something irritates the airways (such as a cold). This is not asthma, and leave when you arrive on the cold. If I were you I would keep an eye on my symptoms, take all prescribed medications, and if things do not improve, I followed with a doctor (hopefully when you have insurance).
Of course, you can always go to the emergency room if things get worse.
Hope this helps
