You have many opportunities to get heartburn during the holidays, it is right that we give you advice on why it is and how to fix it. First, know what you're dealing with: Heartburn occurs when stomach acid Alive in the esophagus, causing a burning sensation in the chest. Fried, fatty foods and large meals to produce more stomach acid, it is more likely that the acid will rebounds. When blight hits, try these simple solutions:

* Chew each bite back so it is easier to digest. A good tip: Put your fork down between each bite and swallow before the resume. It's laborious, but a great way to keep in mind about every bite.

* Take a walk after dinner. Light activity helps your stomach empty more quickly.

* Drink slippery elm bark tea with dinner (check health food stores). It will coat the lining of the esophagus, making it less sensitive to acid.

Green tea can help most anything

no "tea" is really helpful for heartburn, you can brew tea and have very light, but the best thing for heartburn is clear cold milk.

try tea without caffeine. That caffeine can not be good for your stomach. This way, you can enjoy the benefits without the caffeine. Some herbal teas such as chamomile also have a calming effect and are naturally decaffeinated. Good luck in your heartburn.

Well, I know what works, get a pot of Chinese tea and tea making Apple, it allows heartburn and digestion !!!!!!!!

I drink decaf. I never heartburn. I hope you find your luck answer.good

My husband suffers from GERD (acid reflux like) and my daughter (who is a manager at Starbucks) brings his brand called "calm" tea. He drinks hot and it does not seem to help.

mint or chamomile i would of thought.
