How long does it take Treximet and Nadolol together to alleviate a migraine? My doctor gave me Treximet and nadolol (a beta-blocker) to help relieve my migraine attacks (usually triggered by physical exertion). There are two days and I see a reduced frequency of migraine attacks but I am still disabled in my life activities, how long does it take to eliminate them?
Nadolol should work in two weeks if it goes. The Treximet is just taken as needed when you get a migraine.
You can ask your doctor about Topamax. It is approved by the FDA for migraine prevention and is the best cure for migraine I've ever seen.
Best wishes for good!
